Valentine's Day is only 22 days away ... it seems like there's plenty of time until that day; however, if you leave everything to the last minute you might be disappointed.
I've already purchased my beloved some Valentine's Day sweets ... the seal of love: CHOCOLATE. Yum! My job isn't done!!
As a mom, of course I include my daughter, I also give some Valentine's Day love to my darling daughter. I've already got her treat wrapped up and set aside ... a big Hershey's kiss ... Shhhh!
If you plan on going to a restaurant on Valentine's Day, you might be too late to make a reservation already! Given the current situation, in the economy, you might be lucky ... try calling around and your efforts might pay off. Then again, you might want to roll up your sleeves and create a wonderful evening, dinner and all, at home! You could start planning for that not-so-far-off night right now.
Will there be an element of surprise? Will everyone lend a hand in preparing for that evening? How much "romance" do you want to include? Will it be a Family Valentine's? Or will it be a "No Valentine's Allowed" night with a group of single buddies? Whatever the type of get-together it will be, preparations must be made. Start putting together your plan so that you'll be able to get it all done, and get it all done just the way you'd like it to be.
Note: This has been a My Bits and Bleeps' Valentine's Day reminder!

Taking Steps In The Right Direction
Here we are heading towards the end of January. How are you feeling? For those of you that have made New Year’s Resolutions, have you stuck to them? Have you given up? Thrown in the towel? Don’t feel bad, and don’t give up either. Have you noticed that you are not the only one?
Monday January 9, 2012 to Friday, January 13, 2012 was:
“ My Bits and Bleeps’ Week Long Financial Fast!! “
Look at me, for example, I messed up my attempt at “not spending” right on the very first day! Now THAT’S bad. When you fall down, what you have to do is get back up, dust yourself off, and try again! Success isn’t whether you fail or not … it’s how well you bounce back from a fail. Having said that, feel proud in the fact that you are trying. Also, feel good knowing that you haven’t given up easily. Anything ‘good’ is worth working for.
I hope you feel better, after that little pep-talk.
I’d like to share with you a few things …
- I’m looking at ways to improve many areas in my life
- I’m trying to become more organized in my like
- I’m trying to become more physically active
- I’m trying to have more quality moments with my daughter
- I’m trying to alter my eating habits
- I’m trying to incorporate more “me” time into my week
- I’m trying to have more romantic moments with my partner
… and more!
I’ll be looking for support from you, my awesome readers, to help me achieve my goals.
Mid January Blues
It's mid-January already, and I have yet to make the complete switch from Wordpress.com to Blogger. I continue to blog at: http://www.mybitsandbleeps.wordpress.com and really am at a stand still.
Perhaps I could find some help from someone out there! If you are reading this post, and can/want to help, please visit my wordpress blog .... do you see how I have pages and categories? How do I have the same thing in Blogger? So far I haven't been successful, and I haven't given up either! I'll wait patiently, until I find the answers that I need.
In the meanwhile, how has the New Year been treating you so far?

Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year to all!!!
This is how Jake (my cat) rang in the New Year ... I celebrated it in the same fashion. Call it old age; call it what you wish, I was so sleepy. In my defence, Jake does purr loudly. In fact, his purrs can put just about anyone to sleep. Perhaps that's what happened to me? It couldn't have been all the Ice Wine I had!
With today's grey, rainy and damp day, it really makes me tired and sleepy ... and lazy. After breakfast, I have pretty much been doing nothing. It might not be how I wanted the New Year to begin, but then I can't control the weather.
I hope you had a more exciting way to ring in the New Year. Did you have family and friends helping you to celebrate? Did you go out? Did you stay home? Whichever; I wish you all the best in the New Year. May it bring you much love, health, and happiness.
