New Year New Blog?

As we are approaching the final day of 2011, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on 2011 as a whole.

It's true, over the last year, most of my posts have been on wordpress.com ... I haven't really spent any time on Blogger.  I continue to be unsure of what to do.  I've asked my readers what they think I should do.  OK, seriously tell me your thoughts on this ...

Maintaining two Blogs would just be plain crazy!  If you're not aware of my 1.5 year old blog: http://mybitsandbleeps.wordpress.com please visit it and tell me about your experiences.  Do you like the layout on Blogger or on Wordpress.com?  Does it even make a difference?

One more question:  If I do switch over will it be too much of a hassle for you to find?

Christmas - Just Days Away

If following me there, you know that Christmas preparations are well on course!  We can settle down, relax, and actually enjoy the holidays ... for the most part.  I'll still haveto work hard at making Christmas dinner, but everything else is pretty much done.

I don't have any giveaways (yet) to feature here, and all of my giveaways at My Bits and Bleeps on wordpress have all come to an end.  Keep watching for them!  You never know what will happen next.

Please continue having patience with me ... I'll eventually get it working!

Eventually, I'll be switching to Blogger; at least that's what everyone is suggesting that I do!  As I've mentioned before, the "switch" hasn't been easy or smooth.  In my mind, I envisioned the procedure to be a lot easier ... in fact, my hesitation is greater than anything else.  I'm hoping that the New Year will inspire me to embrace 'change'.

Hesitating, I Know, It's Difficult When You're Unsure

  I know that I'm taking a bit of time to decide what I should do.  Should I stay on Wordpress.com?  Should I switch over to Blogger?  I've had a long list of people give me their suggestions, and I'm more confused than ever before.
  I've been on Wordpress.com for 1.5 years, and I've grown quite comfortable with what I can, and can not, do there.  I've poked around enough to know how to post what I need to.  Since visiting Blogger, I've noticed how very different it is.  I feel weird.  Almost intimidated with the whole thing.
  Now, don't forget, if I do switch over to Blogger there's always the fear that I'll lose everything that I've posted on Wordpress.com during the switch-over to Blogger.  I'm hoping that someone out there, who's been in the same situation as me, can tell me how the switch-over is.  Is it easy?  Did you lose all the information?  Was it worth it?  Did you like the switch?  Did you stay, or did you switch back?

I'm hoping that I can make a decision soon.

Still Struggling

I haven't really had a lot of "extra" time left over to dedicate to learning Blogger. I'm getting frustrated because I thought it might be easy to do the big switch. So now I'm thinking, will it ever happen?

I've downloaded the Blogger mobile app .... it's how I'm posting this post. I'm hoping to have more time in November so that I might evaluate Blogger's usefulness.

For now, you'll have to bare with me. Of course, if you know how I might learn faster, please let me know.

Still Trying To Learn About Blogger ...

You're probably wondering why My Bits and Bleeps is on Blogger (and not Wordpress.com)?  I thought I'd switch things up, a bit.  Well, actually, the truth is that two blogger/friends strongly recommended that I switch over.  Unfortunately, Blogger is very different from what I'm use to!

This will actually be my first attempt at a post.  Don't laugh; remember I can always come back and edit!
